for stage 4 i am focusing on smaller details within british culture which links to both grayson perry's ability to pinpoint certain details of british culture that are often overlooked but also to aaron siskinds' ability to record fine details and cause them to become abstract for the image as a whole.

to develop my work i created some digital negatives on acetate and then in the dark-room, i exposed them to light with light sensitive paper. initially i only developed the images with beer in the developer and also exposing light onto paper that only had beer on it, but then for my further developments i experimented by soaking the paper in cider, scraping words and phrases into the paper or acetate and also dipping the acetate in cider before putting it onto the light sensitive paper. i think the most noticeable change between the beer and cider developments is the pinkish tinge on the ones where i used cider.
